We’ve seen Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman in the trailers for ‘Batman V Superman’ and in some teaser footage from her own solo movie, shown on The CW’s ‘Dawn of the Justice League’ special. But so far, the few set pics of her from ‘Wonder Woman’ have depicted her in her civilian Diana Prince attire. But finally some snaps have emerged showing her in full regalia.

The pictures are quite blurry and are obviously taken in between shoots, as Gadot’s revealing costume is covered up by a long quilted coat and in one she’s talking on her cell phone. We also added a few other WW set pics to the gallery too …

Wonder Woman’s origins were relieved in a short teaser during Tuesday’s the Dawn of the Justice League special on The CW .

DC Comics chief creative officer Geoff Johns gave a hint about the format of the film explaining that movie goers will get a chance to learn about Wonder Woman’s back story.

When it comes to Wonder Woman, “People don’t know her origin like they know Superman’s origin or Batman’s origin,” said Johns. “What we want to do in the film is really tell people who she is, where she comes from, and why she does what she does.

“We are going to see her coming of age, the entire history, what’s her mission,” Gadot explained.

You can watch the video, here. We have also added x57 screencaps to the gallery.

Gal Gadot and Chris Pine were spotted in London on the Wonder Woman set yesterday (Sunday Jan 17th). hard at work on the set of the eagerly-anticipated superhero flick dressed as the Amazonian pin-up’s alter-ego Diana Prince. The Israeli beauty, 30, looked to be portraying the character caught between identities. She dressed head to toe in a vintage outfit circa the First World War while clutching Wonder Woman’s sword and shield!

Chris Pine has appeared as a charming prince in 2014’s “Into the Woods,” the USS Enterprise Captain James T. Kirk in J. J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” film series, a U.S. Marine in 2014’s “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit,” and the dashing agent Franklin Foster in “This Means War.” While the 35-year-old actor is set to reprise his “Star Trek role next year, he’s also pat of the highly anticipated “Wonder Woman,” which stars Gal Gadot as the titular character.

People reports that Pine recently spoke to Total Film about his excitement to be part of the 2017 film and play the role of Steve Trevor, the primary love interest of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman.

“It’ll be a f—— blast,” the actor said. “I couldn’t be happier to be supporting Gal [Gadot] in what’s going to be the first female-driven superhero film.”
The actor added, “I think in the world today we’ve had plenty enough of male-driven everything. It’s finally time to see how wonderful the world can be with beautiful, strong intelligent women kicking some major ass.”

The Wrap reported in July that Pine had signed a multi-picture deal, which means fans will be seeing more of him as Steve Trevor. Back in November, Games Radar reported that Comic Zeroes tweeted the first photo of Pine as Steve Trevor on the set of “Wonder Woman.”

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman will be making her debut earlier than her solo film, though, as she is set to appear in next year’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Director Zack Snyder told Entertainment Weekly back in July that “[Wonder Woman] plays a super-important part [in Dawn of Justice]. In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to the rest of the Justice League.”
Back in October, Gadot spoke with Cosmic Book News to share her excitement about donning the Wonder Woman costume for the first time for “Dawn of Justice”. She said, “It was crazy! You don’t do fittings together. You do them separately. But the first time they shot the trio, it was almost magical.”

“On the one hand, when you think about it realistically, it’s kind of weird to stand there, all three of us as superheroes,” the 30-year-old actress recalled. “And then, when we started to shoot, Ben became Batman, Henry became Superman, and I became Wonder Woman. I can’t even express in words how excited I was.”
Gadot added that she is very excited for the upcoming solo “Wonder Woman” film, saying, “The Wonder Woman is a story that needs to be told. I’m so happy it’s me to tell that story. I think there is no better time than now, and it’s about time we should this amazing heroine on the big screen.”

“Wonder Woman” debuts in theaters on June 23, 2017.

It’s been a long time coming, but production on the new Wonder Woman movie is finally underway.
Gal Gadot, 30, and Chris Pine, 35, were both spotted filming on the banks of the Thames in Southend, Essex on Sunday.

Israeli actress Gal plays Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, while US actor Chris is set to star as Captain Steve Trevor, a United States Air Force pilot and Wonder Woman’s love interest in the film.

Alongside the two leading stars, Scottish actor Ewen Bremner was also spotted, in addition to 150 extras in full costume. Seen on location, Gal donned a long, slate-grey coat, which was cinched in at the waist with a tan leather belt. The styling consisted of brown lace-up boots and a wide-brimmed fedora hat, with a white shirt beneath.

With temperatures dropping to 12 degrees Celsius in Southend on Sunday, Gal wrapped up warm in a blue padded jacket and a pair of black woolly gloves. The timescale for the film has yet to be confirmed, but the costumes and location strongly back reports that it’s set in World War I. As previously reported by Heroic Hollywood, the first half of the film will take place during World War I while the second half of the film takes place during modern day.

Earlier this month, Warner Bros. released details as to who else will star in the film when it is released in 2017. These include Robin Wright, Harry Potter’s David Thewlis, Danny Huston as well as indie-darling Lena Anaya and The Office star Lucy Davis. Who they will play in the film is still being kept under wraps.

Getting Wonder Woman, even though she is a well-known character, to the big screen has been a long battle. Believe it or not, Gal’s portrayal in 2016’s Superman v. Batman alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck will be the character’s big screen debut. She was seen for the first time in the lead female role in the recently-released trailer for the film.

Since 1996, there have been many attempts to bring the character to the screen with Sandra Bullock even linked to the role. Another film was proposed in 2005 with Colbie Smulders mentioned before Christina Hendricks was thrown in the mix.

Wonder Woman is slated for a 23 June 2017 release in the US. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.

“Almost 75 years in the making…#WonderWoman is underway”, Gadot, wrote.

Back in September, we saw several promo photos of the “Batman V Superman” cast, including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman’s alter ego, Diana Prince.

On Saturday actress Gal Gado celebrated the official start of filming of Wonder Woman with a sneak peek of the title character herself. Gadot will make her first appearance as the character in next year’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which opens March 25, 2016. Said Taghmaoui (“American Hustle”) is also among the cast members.

Does this mean we’re going to get to see how the rest of the Justice League: Mortal cast would have looked as their respective superheroes? Following Superman in 1938 and Batman in 1939, Wonder Woman completes thesuperhero “trinity” as an advocate for sisterhood, equality, peace, harmony, love, and justice. The film’s plot has yet to be revealed, but rumors suggest it’s a return to Wonder Woman’s World War II roots. She will be joined by Star Trek’s Chris Pine, House of Cards’ Robin Wright and Harry Potter’s David Thewlis. Overall, I like the costume and the skirt, but I would have liked to see the iconic eagle emblem on her breastplate. Patty Jenkins is directing this fourth installment in the DC Comics Extended Universe. Joining Jenkins behind the camera are director of photography Matthew Jensen, Oscar-nominated production designer Aline Bonetto, Oscar-winning editor Martin Walsh, and Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming.

Warner Bros. has also released who else will star in the film when it is released in 2017.

Chris Pine has been cast as Steve Trevor for the upcoming Wonder Woman movie, which stars Gal Gadot!

“Okay. I don’t know too much what I can tell you. I am really excited, for sure, Gal Godot is really talented, Patty Jenkins is going to direct, and we are going to shoot in film,” Pine told the French website Premiere. “What excites me the most is to be in a film with a woman super hero. With a woman in the lead role. I’m on a team with this intelligent, beautiful, strong woman to destroy evil and save humanity – the usual.”

In addition to save humanity, Pine has also been said to be Wonder Woman’s love interest, which would follow the comics.

Wonder Woman has a June 23, 2017 release, with Gal Gadot first appearing in Batman Vs. Superman next March.

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman begins production this fall in November, in London.

Deborah Snyder, wife of Zack Snyder and co-producer of the entire DCEU, confirmed the news during a panel for the See Jane Salon Power to Greenlight event in Los Angeles last week. She also said that they specifically wanted a female director. The job ended up going to Patty Jenkins after Michelle MacLaren dropped out. Snyder also revealed that they tried to hire as many female crew members as possible.

“We still wanted a female director and we found Patty Jenkins, who had the right vision and the same vision that we had for the character. We’re really happy that we’re going to be going into production in November, it’s been a really great process. We’ve tried to hire as many female members of the crew as possible.”

Gal Gadot is attached to headline Wonder Woman, which will be directed by Monster‘s Patty Jenkins and co-star Chris Pine as Steve Trevor. The character will make her first cinematic appearance, however, in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. She may even make additional appearances across DC’s new cinematic universe before her solo film sees release on June 23, 2017. It’s pretty much a guarantee, too, that Wonder Woman (and potentially Trevor as well) will play an important role in Justice League Part One, hitting theaters on November 10, 2017.
