Jess / June 30th, 2016   New Photos,Site

We have a new theme on the gallery. I hope you all enjoyed it!
New/old pictures have been added in our gallery, see:

Here’s the fun first trailer for Keeping Up With the Joneses, director Greg Mottola’s action comedy about Jeff and Karen whose routine, simple life is disrupted by those “overly accomplished” new kids on the block. He speaks Chinese, she’s a darts expert, they’ve both got movie-star looks. So Karen takes to spying on them and Jeff tries heading out on the town with Mr. “Jones”; both moves have predictably imperfect results. Is it paranoia, or is there really something off about them?
Of courses, the Joneses “aren’t who they say they are,” and stuff starts happening. Bullets fly, homes explode and Jeff and Karen’s kids argue over a cookie while their parents are in a life-threatening car chase. Before you know it, our dull suburbanites are up to their sippy cups in international intrigue.

Michael LeSieur penned the screenplay for Keeping Up With the Joneses, which also features Matt Walsh, Maribeth Monroe and Patton Oswalt. Fox opens the pic on October 21. Take a gander at the trailer and tell us what you think. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the trailer went live with the wrong premiere date at the end — October 12 rather than the 21st. It’s been updated, but Deadline grabbed a screen shot for posterity:

Jess / June 21st, 2016   Wonder Woman

This week is the Licensing Expo at Las Vegas’s Mandalay Bay Convention Center, with plenty of new material sure to come out featuring some of the movies Comicbook fans are anxious to learn more on.

The first reveal is a new poster for Wonder Woman, a full-width banner that displays the new movie logo, Gal Gadot in full Wonder Woman regalia, (complete with sword and shield), all upon a stark storm-swept background of what is probably on Themyscira, the otherwise known Paradise Island. The image comes courtesy of ComingSoon.net. They also spotted new posters for Baywatch and more on the scene.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as Diana, princess of the Amazons. Patty Jenkins directs a script by Jason Fuchs. The film is now in post-production, as it follows Diana’s journey to becoming Wonder Woman and discovering man’s world in the midst of World War I. The film is due for a June 3, 2017 release.

Jess / June 21st, 2016   Justice League

In preparation for the first big day of news regarding their Justice League movie, Warner Brothers and DC Films have unveiled a pair of new logos for the movie.

The logos take a very simple approach, not getting nearly as extravagant as those of the next-in-line DC Comics film, Suicide Squad. Instead, the logos are simply black and white with a star carved in between the “I” and “C” of “Justice.”
For a complete rundown of our visit to the Justice League set, check out everything we learned while on the film’s London set right here. Both of the new logos can be seen in the gallery below.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.

Justice League is set for release on November 17, 2017.

Jess / June 21st, 2016   Articles & Interviews,Justice League

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice contained a fair amount of easter eggs in addition to all of its world building elements.
Justice League will at least be heavy on one of those as the producers have said the film will include its share of cameos and easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans to catch.
During a recent set visit, ComicBook.com’s Brandon Davis was on hand when Producers Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven were asked if we would “see more associates from The Flash, Iris West or something like that?”
They were hesitant to confirm any details, but they did confirm Justice League will have some cameos and fun drop-ins for fans.

Roven:  Again …

Snyder: There might be some cameos of people. You know. We kind of like to do that so we’ll see.

Roven: We do like them and to put Easter eggs in these movies and so…”

Teases from Batman v. Superman will also be expounded upon, such as the Mother Box. It was briefly referenced in BVS, but will play a much bigger role in Justice League. The same goes for the Parademons, who were seen in the dream sequence in BVS, and while they might not look exactly the same in Justice League, they will still play a part in the film.

Jess / June 3rd, 2016   Wonder Woman

The latest issue of Total Film magazine features an article about Wonder Woman with Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins.

Gal Gadot talks what the movie is about, with the article noting “Diana (as she is initially known) goes from a timeless isle to trenchwarfare in the 20th century.”

“This is the character’s origin story. She’s not American – she comes from Themyscira, where she’s raised by her mother [Connie Nielsen’s Queen Hippolyta] and all the other Amazons,” Gadot offers. “She’s never seen a man in her entire life. This is the journey of her coming of age, of how she sees the world through different eyes.”

It’s also said the Wonder Woman movie “promises a unique mix of fantasy and historical reality,” and that it will also feature a “fresh approach to ass-kicking.”

“I feel like we’re not the first people to have female fighting going on, but I feel that something very successful has come together here that is fully feminine, but still incredibly strong and sexy,” director Patty Jenkins said as well as adding the Amazons have an ample skill-set, and are less about raw force than good, honest teamwork.

“Gal Gadot, really, truly is Wonder Woman. I’ve said so many times [on set], ‘Gal, in the worst-case scenario, just be yourself – because you really are so true to the spirit of this character,” Jenkins said.

“Wonder Woman” has a June 2, 2017 release directed by Patty Jenkins also starring Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis , Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis and Connie Nielsen.
